Savills have re-submitted MDL’s revised and reduced scheme for a residential building in Ocean Village.  The design team has scrutinised all feedback from the first submission, has engaged on a regular basis with Southampton City Council with regard to master planning in Ocean Village, and has developed our reduced scheme with all relevant feedback in mind.  In addition to providing the city with 20% of its annual housing need, the project – once brought on site – would result in a significant number of construction jobs and employment at a critical time when the economy needs it most.  We are currently working with Southampton City Council to agree the best course of action.
